Siwa General Hospital

Project idea

The project was designed to achieve functionality by connecting the hospital departments through dedicated circulation paths that facilitate movement between different sections. The design adopts a horizontal expansion approach instead of a vertical one to preserve the city's architectural character and maintain its visual identity

Project description

Design Aspects: Sustainability: - The project relies on the use of clean, renewable energy, enhancing the building's sustainability and ensuring long-term operational efficiency. - Sustainable facades were designed using local materials inspired by Siwan's natural landscape, while preserving the city's traditional architectural character. Environment and Green Spaces: Nature was integrated into the project through indoor and outdoor green spaces, creating a comfortable environment for patients and hospital staff. Patio Design: The central courtyard was used as a key element connecting the architectural blocks together, providing natural ventilation and sufficient lighting for the building. Bridges: A bridge surrounding the courtyard was added to connect the four sections to facilitate movement between the blocks.

Technical information

The goal is to design a hospital project that combines sustainable design, integrated functionality, and harmony with Siwa's nature and identity, making it a model for modern architectural design.
