Theater Desire Bonogo

Project idea

architecture with earth, the demands of a warm climate, floods and above all the passion for dance and music, deeply rooted in this culture, inspired the proposal for the rehabilitation of the theater.

Project description

The set already had the existence of somebuildings like those of the cdc and the amphitheater to whichtwo other new designed for this project are added, they are located in the field parallels between them containing the amphitheater between them and facing the big park located on the front ground. new functions containing squares are created that accompany the main objective of rehabilitation such as coexistence and plurality between the different arts. one of them acts as a FOYER outdoors, serving the amphitheater; the main square connects with the park and contains a small natural amphitheater serving for small meetings; and a third plaza that together with the new building and the CDC serve as an overflow for the different disciplines, acting as one more space for them

Technical information

The buildings are elevated 3 mt, with structure H°A°, materialized interior walls with earth bricks and screens made with perforated bricks to allow air to enter and avoid direct radiation to the premises
