A husband and wife who are both pilots are located on a tranquil piece of land. The site is far away from the main road and surrounded by plenty of open space and large trees, here the owners want an innovative multifunctional living space of their interest or profession that they can enjoy each other's company as much as possible.
As pilots the owners spend long periods of time away from each other and stuck in tiny spaces. They want their house to make them feel free, to allow them to enjoy nature and also to bring them close together. In order to make this happen, the house is to have a total floor area including walls of 100 spuare meters that will be built on a multiple levels and will sit on a piece of land of 150 square meters of any particular shape. The house should include:
Entry
Cooking and eating space
General relaxation and entertainment spaces, indoor and outdoor
Study
Sleeping space
Ablution facilities
Storage space
Stairs and circulation
Balcony
I think Mr. Walter worked hard.
But there are a lot of scopes for improvement.
Poor concept: A house should portray the owner's philosophy and sometimes his/her professional activities. This architecture doesn't show any strong concept or architectural features.
What should be the concept
The owner's profession deals with high-tech / cutting-edge technologies, and he should be considered a tech-shabby person.
Very fine geometrical expressions with wide terraces and glass can be the transformation of concept.
White color can be used here to reflect the sky and nature.
The model is very poorly made.
Drawings are missing- which is a must for this level of architectural project.
