Argentina as one of the most famous countries for its Eno-touristic industry, has always opened its arms to travelers from all over the world. Also, Dance and Wine are two inseparable habits of every Argentinian. Before the surge of the pandemic, Porto Madero region was a crowded touristic desination but an inactive one due to the lack of sufficient and efficient acces sto this port. In the past, it was a port for ships and there existed a marine life in the sea. The recent era, before the pandemic outbreak, it was crowded by inefficient transportation system by vehicles and people commuting through subways on and under the ground. But the future holds promising days for a lively industrial and touristic destination which happens in the sky by the drones.
Regarding these facts, in this design we made an adaptive change to the existing Porto Madero silos, converting it into a Winery. A simple procedure is followed in this Vinocity:
• The new port receives drones that have gathered harvests from the suburban fields.
• Then, harvest is unloaded to the factory by the supporting crane.
• Produced wine is transferred through the pipes both to the Storage and tasting rooms.
• Also, waste of this process gets back to the vineyard in front of the silos.
This cycle of wine production which is accompanied by dance and music in the cultural zone, would breathe new air into the silos of Porto Madero, making it a new Futuristic Enotourism Port.
Hello Amir,
Congratulations on the project presented, it really turned out amazing. The adaptation of the silos of Porto Madero into a futuristic winery is an impressive idea. The whole process is well-thought-out and innovative.
I would like to highlight a few positive aspects that deserve recognition. Firstly, the resemblance to high-tech architecture is evident and striking. The requalification of the space managed to preserve the historical part and, at the same time, brought innovation.
Another positive aspect is the visual representation that was excellent, the graphics were very interesting and also the conceptual diagram of the project that was self-explanatory.
Some graphic representation considerations that can help you further improve the presentation of your project are, I felt, the lack of some explanatory texts, legends, graphic scale and north in the plans.
Thanks for sharing your project. I wish you much success in your professional career.
Abelardo Pereira.
