Project idea

The idea of this project is to make a place in the university campus for students to take some time off , read in the library, play some games , study or even sit in the cafeteria.

Project description

The scope of the project is create a place that includes several activities and connected with other buildings by its elevations such as the edgy look that is common in the neighboring SSP building. also the triangular forms in the external cladding give the building the Arabian taste. the builing is radial with different inner leveling to separate different activities visually with strong connections between them from the inside. the activities are life size chess , drawing tables , cafeteria , studying area , toilets with lockers , library and a gallery to show the projects.

Technical information

The building type is a universal space created with light structure, difference in exterior levels create slits that provide lighting, some of the triangular cladding are opened for lighting. AC ventilation inside with side curtain walls. the provided documents are hand drawn as in the first year of college they only accept hand drawn projects in parallel with teaching us computer programs
