Crassula

Project idea

The building is inspired by a type of cactus called Crassula. It is a symbol of love for nature, peace, unity, endurance, peaceful life and survival. The distinctive feature of this building, which is designed based on the concepts of bionics and stability and a circular model, is its pyramidal shape, which is reminiscent of one of the prototype of pyramidal architecture called Choghaznabil Ziggurat in Iran. Using proportions in nature and combining it with ancient Iranian architecture, we tried to design a unique building that, in addition to stunning beauty, also has the ability to interact between man and nature. In this building, large windows and balconies blur the internal and external borders and create a pleasant feeling. Windows has dual access to outdoor features for users and also reflects the unique colors of nature inside. As a result, it creates harmony between indoor and outdoor space. Using biotechnology techniques such as proper ventilation, orienting windows to use light and heat, using bumps and trees to provide shade, and choosing colored ceilings to reflect sunlight can reduce energy consumption, cost, and carbon emissions. The use of external curtains can reduce the temperature of the building by up to 10 degrees. Other benefits include a high degree of shade, thermal regulation and privacy. In addition, the user can adjust the amount of light in the interior with the slope of the louvre. In the cold months of the year, we use electric floor heating (cable-system) to supply heat to the building, the advantages of which are easy installation, high flexibility, lower costs, and very precise control. In addition, this system is enclosed in the floor and does not interfere with the interior design. As a result, this building can be considered Eco Friendly. Living at a height takes man away from nature. And this distance leads man to nature following his instinctive need. In fact, nature and even the touch of one of the natural elements in the architectural space makes the space soft and creates a sense of calm in human beings. Proper use of natural resources in architecture can bring peace back to life. Using plant species, we tried to induce a sense of freshness and calm. Light has a high psychological value along with the necessity in space. Natural light during the day, in addition to reducing energy consumption, creates a sense of calm and flow of life in humans. Research has shown that in an architectural space, watching natural landscapes by humans, creates pleasant and positive emotions and moods in them and significantly reduces stress and psychological pressure, and thus provides a sense of human peace. Slowly The use of windows and balconies at different angles in this building has brought nature and natural elements such as water, plants and sunlight into the interior space.

Crassula
