the idea is architecture in case of crisis and the crisis is social interaction and how it can be solved by using festivals. the context is in elwarraq elhadar which is a slum area.

Project description

the solution is festival and media center. the festival center is for community and is a boat form that presents their natural lifestyle of being near the Nile River and the media center is in boxes form that presents the form of buildings around that makes the whole building made and represents the community.

Technical information

the construction is box structure for the media center and the boat form is trusses and beams that make the load transfer to the cores that holding the building.
