Memory Museum-Saving Schindler's Ark

Project idea

This museum design is inspired by the film Schindler's List and is divided into four main sections to show the story and its significance between Schindler and the Jews. Firstly, there is the pavement section, which have two building entrances representing the perspectives and stories of Schindler and the Jews. Next is the overture section, where the two lines come closer together, as if foreshadowing the imminent meeting of their fates. Then comes the climax, where the two lines converge to tell the story of how Schindler led the Jews through difficult times and the vision they shared. This part of the square design is based on the ring awarded to Schindler in the film.Cinema consists of three-dimensional bodies in a two-dimensional frame of view (spatiality) with the deconstructive reorganisation of the moving camera (temporality). Architecture, in turn, consists of material entities (spatiality) and the user's behavioural psychological experience (temporality). By linking the scripted subplot with the architectural spatial scene, the translation space is obtained. Finally, there is the levelling-off section, where the two lines merge completely, leading to the broader theme of a community of human destiny. The museum will use display objects, multimedia technology and interactive experiences to immerse visitors in this touching story and to reflect on the common destiny and responsibility of mankind.
