A PSALM OF LIFE

Project idea

"A PSALM OF LIFE" embodies the sincere pursuit of the value of life, and is not only a memorial museum, but also a public space that integrates with local life and highlights regional characteristics. The design aims to let visitors feel the dignity, courage and hope of life, and realize the true meaning of life through daily experience. The open plaza encourages residents to share their life stories and intertwines past heroics with current life; the buildings and exhibition halls carry the traces of time and the weight of life, creating a historical atmosphere in which visitors can immerse themselves and appreciate the beauty of life. Schindler's Ark North celebrates life, unites historical memories with contemporary life, and conveys positive life values.

Technical information

1. Steel materials: such as steel columns, beams and plates, used to support and reinforce the main structure of the building. 2. Concrete: Used for floor slabs and walls to provide basic load-bearing and isolation. 3. Masonry materials: such as bricks, blocks, etc., used for partition walls and enclosure structures. 4. Fabric curtains: used to adjust the light of the exhibition hall and isolate the line of sight, with good shading effect and adjustable light and darkness. 5. Felt materials: used for sound insulation wall, exhibit display background, activity area separation, with good sound absorption performance, good thermal insulation effect and soft texture. 6. Canvas or canvas-like materials: used for room division, regional isolation, exhibit display, etc., which is sturdy and durable, good barrier, easy to install and dismantle. 7. Roofing materials: such as color steel plates, metal tiles, etc., used to cover the roof. 8. Wooden materials: used for floor laying, beautifying and improving the indoor environment. 9. Tempered glass: used for staircase handrails, partition walls, hollow floor slabs, and display spaces. 10.Low-E coated glass: used for large area windows, skylights of exhibition halls to play the role of heat insulation and heat preservation, reduce energy consumption.
