MIX-USE PROJECT

Project idea

The mixed-use project is a contemporary architectural intervention situated in the urban context of Tripoli, Lebanon. It aims to create a vibrant and interconnected ecosystem of functions, including residential, commercial, and community spaces. The design seeks to address the dense urban environment by fostering social and economic interactions while revitalizing the local fabric. Inspired by the typology of mixed-use buildings, the project transcends the conventional commercial-residential model to introduce a multifunctional hub that promotes community engagement and sustainable urban living.

Project description

This mixed-use complex is designed to serve as a dynamic hub that integrates multiple functions, including retail, residential units, co-working spaces, and recreational areas. By addressing diverse needs, the project fosters a sense of belonging and community among its users. Strategically located within Tripoli, the design responds to the city's urban challenges, such as limited public spaces and fragmented social interactions. The complex serves as a catalyst for economic growth and social integration, encouraging collaboration among residents, visitors, and local businesses. The design reflects a harmonious relationship with its surroundings, incorporating open spaces, pedestrian pathways, and sustainable building practices to enhance the quality of life for the community.
