AGRI-FLUX | The Parametric Oasis A Closed-Loop Smart Farm Ecosystem

Project idea

AGRI-FLUX is an architectural intervention designed to solve the friction between extreme arid climates and sustainable food production. The concept centers on a biomorphic vertical farm hub that functions as both a structural masterpiece and a climatic engine. By utilizing an algorithmic exoskeleton, the design optimizes solar shading and interior humidity, creating a self-sustaining microclimate that anchors the surrounding desert master plan.

Project description

-Biomimetic Synthesis: The design replaces static structures with an algorithmic, biomorphic hub that optimizes internal microclimates and provides natural solar shading. -Autonomous Infrastructure: Development of a multi-modal transit network featuring dedicated autonomous AV pod lines and monorail connectivity to streamline logistics and human mobility. -Resource Circularity: Implementation of a closed-loop aquaponic water-recycling system, significantly reducing water consumption compared to traditional vertical farming. -Adaptive Housing: Integration of eco-housing units with active solar skins, turning residential zones into energy-generating surfaces.
