TEH END - A NEW BEGINNING

Project idea

The idea of the designe comes from the explosion. As a starting shape we took circles, which are like a field of blasting. In this way we created the shape of the hoops forming communication in the harbor. On the most protruding parts of the land we created 3 main spaces - water park, memorial, and passenger terminal. These are zones that seamlessly connect with each other by means of public spaces. the remaining quarters were filled with commercial and residential functions.

Project description

The idea behind the concept is to commemorate the victims of the explosion and create a memorial at the climax site. The concept includes memorial spaces, recreational areas and parks. Commercial services have been taken care of as well as the location of hotel centers close to the shoreline, along with resort facilities. The project includes space for residential buildings and an aquatic entertainment center designed to provide entertainment in the form of education. An indispensable element of the design is a passenger terminal located near the green, connected by transportation to other important zones of the Design. The Project also has the appropriate technical infrastructure necessary for its port function. Container spaces and administrative buildings were located in this zone. The entire concept is based on efficient inter-zone vehicular transportation

Technical information

The concept was created in AutoCAD, Sketchup and Lumin. Graphic design was made with the help of Adobe Photoshop. The project was made under the direction of dr inż. arch. Magdalena Sulima.
