The lung of Beirut

Project idea

The idea of the project is to generate an extensively wooded area with Beirut's own ecosystem in order to mitigate the effects of a densely built city with the sea and port activity. In this way, we seek to generate a unique front that will become a cultural, ecological and international pole.

Project description

It is a large mass of trees that extend through the city, at the same time generating a series of ramp buildings that integrate both interfaces and respond to an urban scale, which is framed by the roads.

Technical information

The least possible intervention was considered for the maximum ecological and urban use of the site.
