Addressing the issue of the local community center in Tainan city, where the space was not accommodating the needs of different age groups and the term “symbiotic” was introduced. The initial concept and idea explore how to integrate a community center that attracts and accommodates all different age groups with substantial and recreational urban space in the community while also serving the community and people in the area.

The project explores and defines how a modern community center acts. As a media that promotes the exchange of information through different types of interaction in space. Direct and Non-direct interaction happens simultaneously within different spaces in the community center and at the heart of the building a hub connecting different spaces are located to create multiversal interaction and exchange of ideas and information. The community center serves as a hub for the locals living nearby, from a sports center to an open public rooftop park, the space provided was there to serve the community's needs. The ground floor is designed to be as public as possible to accommodate the retail and market area and welcome visitors from different areas, while also promoting tourism. Since the area itself is one of the famous tourist centers in the city.

Technické informácie

The main structure used in the building is a Steel Structure (SS), comprised of H-steel beams and pillars with support from the Facade's Diagonal Steel Braces. The Diagonal Braces help the building stability in bearing the loads from the long cantilever beams. For the basement of the building SRC )Steel Reinforced Concrete) the structure is used to accommodate the whole building's foundation.
